Ukrainian forces struck Russian Su-57 and Su-34 fighter jets at an airfield in the Chelyabinsk region of Russia. The targets were located approximately 1,700 km from Ukraine’s state border.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On April 25, 2026, at the Shagol airfield in the Chelyabinsk region of Russia, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces struck several Su-57 fighter jets. A Su-34 fighter-bomber was also hit.
The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
It is noted that the targets were located approximately 1,700 km from Ukraine’s state border.
