Russian forces continued a massive overnight drone attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Four people were reported injured in the capital, while two more were wounded in the Kyiv region, where the consequences of the strikes were recorded in six districts.
This was reported by Suspilne Kyiv and Kyiv region police.
In Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district, a fire broke out in a five-story residential building following the attack. Four injured people were found there, and a search-and-rescue operation is ongoing.
Also in the Solomianskyi district, debris fell on an office building, causing a fire. Later, a drone strike was recorded between a residential building and a commercial establishment.
Overall, fires and damage were reported in four districts of Kyiv during the night.
In the Kyiv region, the attack damaged 12 private houses, two outbuildings, warehouse and industrial facilities, a lyceum, and three cars.
In the Bucha district, a private house and a fence were damaged.
In the Fastiv district, seven private houses and an outbuilding were damaged. A fire also broke out in warehouse and industrial premises.
In the Vyshhorod district, a lyceum building was damaged, while in the Brovary district two private houses and an outbuilding were damaged.
In Boryspil, an industrial facility was damaged and caught fire. Two men were injured: one suffered shrapnel wounds to his legs, while the other sustained an abdominal injury.
In the Obukhiv district, a private house caught fire. The blaze was extinguished, while two other properties and three cars were also damaged.
Police officers, rescuers, and other emergency services are working at the sites of the strikes.
