The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said it had struck a number of important military and logistics facilities inside Russia that support the operations of the Russian Baltic Fleet and provide fuel supplies to Russian forces.
According to the SBU, operators from the Alpha Special Operations Center, together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukraine’s military intelligence agency (HUR), struck the Russian Navy’s 15th Arsenal in Leningrad Region, the Kronstadt Naval Base, and the Ust-Labinsk fuel depot in Krasnodar Region.
The SBU said a fire and secondary detonations were observed after the strike on the 15th Navy Arsenal. The facility stores missiles and ammunition, while local online communities reported a possible evacuation of residents from nearby settlements.
Fires were also recorded near the Kronstadt Naval Base and the Kronstadt Marine Plant. The agency noted that these facilities support the operations of Russia’s naval grouping in the Baltic Sea and are used for ship maintenance, repair and combat support.
Another target was the Ust-Labinsk fuel depot in Krasnodar Region. According to the SBU, multiple explosions triggered a large-scale fire that engulfed at least three fuel storage tanks.
The agency said the depot serves as an important rear logistics hub for storing and supplying fuel to Russian forces operating on the southern and eastern fronts.
The SBU stressed that such operations are aimed at weakening Russia’s Baltic Fleet and disrupting the logistics of the Russian military. According to the agency, disabling ammunition depots, naval infrastructure and fuel facilities reduces the combat readiness of Russian forces and limits Russia’s ability to conduct military operations.
