Ukraine has developed four types of interceptors capable of shooting down Russian jet-powered Shahed drones. They have already undergone field tests, and the main task now is to quickly refine the systems and scale up production to thousands of units.
Ukrinform reported this, citing Ukrainian Defense Minister Yevhenii Khmara.
According to the minister, efforts to find effective ways to counter jet-powered drones are continuing.
“There are already four potential interceptors that can shoot down jet-powered Shaheds. They have already undergone field tests,” Khmara said.
The next step is to bring these developments to the required level and increase production as quickly as possible.
According to the minister, the goal is to scale up interceptor production to thousands of units.
