On the morning of November 28, Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko said that the strikes were aimed at the power system, and Ukrenergo introduced emergency power outages.
- Kyiv: In the capital, rocket fragments fell in the Dniprovsky and Darnytsky districts, damaging outbuildings and a truck. There were no casualties.
- Rivne region: About 280 thousand subscribers were left without electricity, there are interruptions in water supply. Schools in and around Rivne switched to distance learning.
- Lviv region: Russia has attacked energy infrastructure facilities. The administration promises to provide details later.
- Kharkiv: Three strikes hit a civilian enterprise in the Kyiv district. There is no information about the victims.
- Lutsk: Several hits were recorded in the city. A part of the city was left without electricity, and public transport is not working. Critical infrastructure is connected to backup power sources.
- Sumy region: Three explosions were recorded in Shostka community as a result of a missile strike.
- Mykolaiv: Explosions occurred in the city, and power outages caused a power outage.
- Vinnytsia region: A rocket attack damaged residential buildings, destroyed an outbuilding and caused a car to catch fire. A woman was wounded.
According to monitoring channels, the rocket attack took place in two waves and continued:
- 1 hour and 13 minutes – from 05:12 to 06:25, the attack by “Kalibrami”.
- 1 hour and 28 minutes – from 07:07 to 08:35, attack by Kh-101.
- The UAV attack lasted 9 hours and 37 minutes, from 22:05 to 07:42.
