On the night of February 20, Russia carried out another massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine’s gas infrastructure. The attack damaged production facilities.

This was announced by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko.

After assessing the security situation, work has begun to restore the damaged infrastructure. He noted that the purpose of the Russian attacks was to stop gas production for domestic needs and district heating.

Galushchenko emphasized that despite Russia’s claims that there were no attacks on civilian infrastructure, this is yet another proof of deliberate attacks on Ukrainian gas production facilities.

On the night of February 20, the Russian occupiers launched a combined attack on critical infrastructure in the Kharkiv region.

A total of 14 missiles and 161 attack UAVs were used.
