On the morning of April 16, Russian forces struck a high-rise residential building in Odesa. Eight people were killed and 16 were injured.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“The strike caused a fire, significant damage was recorded, and some apartments were completely destroyed,” the statement said.
The nighttime attack damaged residential buildings, a port infrastructure facility, and storage facilities. The blast wave shattered windows in three five-story dormitories.
Rescue workers have already extinguished all fires caused by the shelling.
