In Ternopil, law enforcement officers detained a 14-year-old schoolgirl who was recruited by Russian special services to commit a terrorist attack near the local police department.
This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.
‘The enemy ‘noticed’ the girl when she was looking for quick money in Telegram channels. To get her to cooperate, the racists ‘hacked’ her phone. They blackmailed the girl and threatened to ‘leak’ explicit photos of the minor on the Internet,’ the statement said.
Under pressure, the schoolgirl made an improvised explosive device and planted it under a car near the police administration building. At that moment, Russian special services planned to detonate the explosives remotely to eliminate their agent and bystanders.
The SBU detected and neutralised the explosives in time and detained the perpetrator.

The girl was served a notice of suspicion of attempted terrorist attack (Part 2 of Article 15, Part 1 of Article 258 of the CCU). The court placed her under house arrest. She faces up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the case.
