On the evening of 20 March, Russian occupation forces launched a massive drone attack on Odesa, causing large-scale fires and destruction.
The attack set fire to a shopping centre, shops and a multi-storey building. According to preliminary reports, three teenagers were injured.
Due to the drone strike, localised emergency power outages were recorded in the city in the Primorsky, Peresypsky and Kyiv districts.






According to the State Emergency Service, more than 70 rescuers, 22 fire trucks, and volunteers were involved in the response.
The mayor of Odesa released a video of the aftermath of the attack, which shows destroyed and burning buildings, civilian objects, as well as the work of rescuers and special equipment.
