An accident occurred at a mine substation located at a depth of more than 1,300 meters in the Dnipropetrovs’k region. The incident left 135 miners trapped underground.
According to the State Emergency Service, the coordinated work of mine rescuers, the company’s specialists and rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine helped to successfully eliminate the accident.
To rescue the miners, a sophisticated technology was used to create an artificial load on the mine cage, which ensured the safe lifting of all the victims to the surface.
“All 135 miners returned home safe and sound,” the statement said.
