The 1114th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From March 12 to 13, 138 combat engagements were recorded at the front. The most tense situation remains in the Pokrovske, Toretske and Kursk sectors.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the last day, 138 combat engagements were recorded at the front. The enemy launched two missile and 98 air strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using three missiles and dropping 150 UAVs. In addition, it carried out more than five thousand two hundred attacks, including 147 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,283 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes in the vicinity of populated areas:
- Yanivka, Yunakivka, Loknya in Sumy region;
- Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka, Kostyantynivka, Druzhkivka, Pokrovsk, Leontovychi, Novopil, Shevchenko in Donetsk region;
- Zaliznychne, Hulyaypole, Novoandriivka in Zaporizhzhia region;
- Kherson.
Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lyman and Siversk directions
In the Kharkiv sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled two enemy attacks near Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk sector, eight occupants’ attacks took place over the last day. Defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault in the vicinity of Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Zahryzove.
The enemy attacked seven times in the Liman sector. He tried to advance near the settlements of Myrne, Kolodyazi and Hrekivka.
Ukrainian defenders repelled nine enemy attacks in the areas of Verkhnekamianske, Bilohorivka and Ivan-Daryivka in the Siversky sector.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors
In the Kramatorsk sector, one firefight was registered in the area of Chasovyi Yar.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 19 attacks near Toretsk, Leonidivka, Druzhba and Ozaryanivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 45 aggressor attacks near Vodiane Druhe, Yelizavetivka, Novotoretske, Promin, Dachanske, Novoukrainka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Nadiivka and Andriivka.
Novopavlivske, Huliaypillia, Kursk and other directions
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions ten times near the towns of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv and Burlatske.
In the Huliaipil sector, Ukrainian troops stopped eight attempts by the invaders to advance near Pryvilne and Novodarivka.
In the Orikhivsk sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled six enemy attacks in the areas of Pyatikhatky, Kamianske and in the direction of Novoandriivka.
The enemy did not conduct any active offensives in the Prydniprovsky sector.
In the operational zone in the Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces units repelled 17 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. The enemy made 334 artillery attacks, 12 of which were from multiple rocket launchers, and launched 29 air strikes using 33 UAVs.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
