        Seven dead and 11 injured: aftermath of Russian strikes on Odesa

        On April 16, Russian forces launched several waves of attacks on Odesa using missiles and strike drones. Seven people were killed and 11 others were injured as a result of the shelling.

        This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

        Infrastructure facilities and a residential building in the Khadzhibey district were damaged, and over 300 windows were shattered in several buildings.

        “The death toll from the nighttime Russian attack has risen to 7. Another 11 people were injured and are receiving all necessary medical care,” the statement said.

        Damage was also reported in one of the parks in the Primorsky district.

        Cleanup efforts are ongoing at the sites of the strikes, and an operational headquarters has been established.
