Russians have published footage of the execution of unarmed Ukrainian soldiers who were captured by them. Another war crime is likely to have occurred in the village of Kozacha Loknya in the Kursk region. At least five people were killed.
The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets wrote about it on Telegram.
“The released video shows at least five allegedly killed prisoners of war. We once again see a cynical disregard for international humanitarian law on the part of the Russian army,” the ombudsman wrote.
Letters have been sent to the UN and the ICRC to record the war crime of the Russian Federation.
