The 1115th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From March 13 to 14, 146 combat engagements were recorded at the front. The situation remains the most tense in the Pokrovsk, Toretsk and Kursk sectors.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy conducted 103 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 154 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out about six thousand attacks, including 166 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,509 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes in the vicinity of populated areas:
- Kozacha Lopan, Hraniv, Bezruky in Kharkiv region;
- Pokrovsk, Oleksandropil, Hrodivka, Sukhyi Yar, Novopavlivka, Zvirove, Leontovychi, Oleksiivka, Voskresenka, Shevchenko, Bahatyr, Vesele, Vile Pole, Novopil in Donetsk region;
- Zaliznychne, Hulyaypole, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Zapasne, Shchaslyve, Novoivanivka, Lezhyne in Zaporizhzhia oblast;
- Lviv, Kherson region.
Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lyman and Siversk directions
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy conducted five offensives in the direction of Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe and Doroshivka yesterday.
Three occupants’ attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Holubivka, Zahryzove and Bohuslavka.
In the Liman sector, the enemy attacked 15 times. He tried to advance near Torske, Yampolivka and in the direction of Zelena Dolyna, Hryhorivka, Novyi, Novomykhailivka.
In the Siverskyi sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attacks by the occupation forces near the settlements of Bilohorivka and Verkhnekamianske.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors
In the Kramatorsk sector, one firefight was registered in the area of Chasovyi Yar.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 14 attacks near Toretsk, Krymske and Druzhba.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 49 aggressor’s attacks in the areas of Yelizavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novosergiivka, Kotlyarivka, Oleksiivka, Andriivka.
Novopavlivske, Huliaypillia, Kursk and other directions
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy tried to break through five times in vain near Kostiantynopil and Burlatske.
In the Huliaipil sector, there were eight combat engagements with the enemy in the areas of Novosilka, Rivne, Vilne Pole and Novopil.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy conducted 12 offensives in the areas of Stepove, Pyatikhatky, Shcherbaky, Kamianske and in the directions of Novoandriivka and Mala Tokmachka.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Prydniprovsky sector.
In the operational zone in the Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 22 attacks by Russian invaders yesterday. In addition, the enemy launched 37 air strikes using 54 guided bombs, and also carried out 203 artillery attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including three from multiple launch rocket systems.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
