On the evening of March 11, Russia attacked a port in Odesa. A ballistic missile damaged the Barbados-flagged MJ PINA, killing four people.
This was announced by the Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba.
Four Syrian citizens were killed. The youngest was 18 years old, the oldest was 24 years old. Two more people were injured – a Ukrainian and a Syrian. They are being provided with the necessary assistance.
“At the time of the attack, the vessel was loading wheat for export to Algeria. It was an absolutely civilian vessel,” noted Kuleba.
Another vessel, berths and grain storage facilities were also damaged.
