President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the authorities are considering the possibility of expanding the conditions for concluding contracts under the “18–24” program. In particular, this involves increasing the age and changing the circumstances that would allow such a service format to be concluded.
About this, Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported in Telegram.
“Contracts 18–24. The program must be expanded. Today we discussed some options, including increasing the age and the circumstances under which exactly this contract format can be concluded. The Ministry of Defense, the General Staff, and the Office team must present the details to society,” the head of state noted.
Also, according to him, funding for brigades to purchase drones and pickups will be significantly increased. In addition, Zelenskyy ordered to reduce bureaucracy in the process of awarding military personnel. All responsible bodies must report on the implementation of the decisions by Monday.
