        Casualties rise after Russian attack on Kyiv: two killed, ten injured

        Two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack on September 8, while the number of injured rose to ten. Damage was reported in five districts.

        This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

        Rescuers continue to deal with the aftermath of the attack in several districts of the capital.

        In the Holosiivskyi and Podilskyi districts, firefighters are still extinguishing fires in non-residential buildings at several locations.

        In the Dniprovskyi district, rescuers contained a grass fire that broke out as a result of the attack.

        As a reminder, on the night of September 8, Russia attacked Kyiv with drones and missiles, causing damage and fires in at least five districts of the city. Rescuers managed to save 13 people.
