Two people were killed in Kremenchuk as a result of a massive Russian strike, and as of 2:15 p.m., 34 people were reported injured. Five apartment buildings and dozens of private homes were damaged, while some buildings were completely destroyed.
This was reported by the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Diakivnych.
Children are among the injured. People with various injuries, including shrapnel wounds, are being treated in hospitals. Some patients required surgery.
According to one of the reports, ten injured people are in serious condition. People continue to seek medical assistance, so the number of injured is still being уточнено.
During the attack, some people did not have time to reach shelters. Hospitals said that the injured are receiving all necessary assistance and that there are sufficient supplies of medicines and equipment. Medical facilities across the region are also ready to admit patients if necessary.
As a result of the strike, five apartment buildings containing a total of 431 apartments were damaged. Another 35 private homes were damaged, while six private households were destroyed.
Emergency and municipal services, as well as humanitarian organizations, are working at the scene. Assistance centers have been set up where residents can file claims for damaged property, report their needs and receive necessary support.
The city is also expected to provide municipal housing to people whose homes have become uninhabitable.
