        Russia attacked two ports in Odesa region: one person killed, five injured

        Today, January 7, Russians launched a combined missile and drone strike on port infrastructure in Odesa region.

        This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kipper.

        According to preliminary data, one person was killed. Five more people were injured and are receiving medical assistance. All relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences on site.

        According to Oleksiy Kuleba, Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, the attack damaged port facilities, administrative buildings, and containers with oil.

        “This is yet another strike by a terrorist country against port infrastructure that is involved in ensuring global food security. Russia is deliberately trying to undermine the economy and destroy maritime logistics,” Kuleba wrote.
