From 21:00 on 8 November to the morning of 9 November 2024, the enemy attacked using 51 Shahed attack drones and unidentified drones.
The main impact was in The Odessa region. The attack damaged several residential buildings, administrative buildings, warehouses and cars.
The attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defence Forces.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force Command, as of 08:00 on Saturday, 32 drones were confirmed downed in Odessa, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Ternopil regions. A total of 18 enemy drones were lost in different regions of Ukraine.
