A trilateral meeting between representatives of Russia, the United States and Ukraine could take place in the near future. The Kremlin confirmed that the possibility of such talks was discussed during the latest phone call between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
This was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, according to Interfax.
Journalists asked Peskov to comment on a US proposal to hold a trilateral meeting between Russia, Ukraine and the United States in the United Arab Emirates at the technical level.
“Indeed, such a discussion took place. They talked about the possibility that such a meeting could take place in the near future. This was during the latest phone call between Putin and Trump,” Peskov said.
At the same time, the Kremlin spokesperson noted that there are currently no specific details regarding the possible meeting.
