At least 16 people were injured in a massive overnight attack on Odesa, including a teenager. The heaviest damage was recorded in the city’s Prymorskyi district.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
According to him, as of 7:00 a.m., the enemy struck residential areas and civilian infrastructure across different parts of Odesa.
The most severe damage was recorded in the Prymorskyi district. A high-rise and a five-story residential building were damaged. Large fires broke out on the upper floors and roofs, which rescuers managed to contain. Private houses and residential buildings in the central part of the city were also damaged.
Social and commercial facilities were hit as well: a kindergarten building sustained significant damage, while a shopping center, a hotel, and administrative premises were also damaged.
Dozens of buses and passenger cars were destroyed or damaged at several parking areas.
In the Khadzhibeyskyi district, strikes hit infrastructure facilities, warehouse buildings, and a garage cooperative.
According to updated information, 16 people were injured, including a 17-year-old boy. Two people are in intensive care in serious condition, and another man has been hospitalized in the trauma unit. Others received medical assistance on site or were referred for outpatient treatment.
A total of 68 units of equipment and more than 280 emergency and municipal workers were involved in dealing with the aftermath.
