On August 31, four people were injured in Sumy as a result of a Russian attack on a residential area. A jet-powered UAV struck an apartment building, while another drone, an Italmas, hit a five-story residential building.
This was reported by Sumy City Military Administration head Serhii Kryvosheienko.
In the Zarichnyi district, a Russian jet-powered UAV struck a multi-story residential building. Smoke was reported in one of the apartments on the top floor, and several private vehicles were also damaged.
According to preliminary information, four people were injured in the attack. Their condition is assessed as moderate.
Earlier, in Sumy’s Kovpakivskyi district, a Russian Italmas drone struck an apartment in a five-story building but did not detonate. A fire broke out in the apartment and has already been contained.
No one was injured in that incident.
