Russian forces attacked Kyiv on the night of September 1, striking civilian infrastructure and residential areas. According to the latest figures, eight people were killed and five others were injured, including three children.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
In the Darnytskyi district, strikes caused fires at two locations. Seven people were killed, while another person remains in hospital in serious condition. The fires have been extinguished.
At another location in the same district, two people, including one child, were injured by the blast wave.
In the Holosiivskyi district, a non-residential building was hit. A fire covering 40 square metres was extinguished. One person was killed.
In the Solomianskyi district, a UAV struck a residential building, causing partial destruction. Rescuers saved a man and pulled a woman from the rubble. Both were handed over to medical teams.
