The 1238th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From July 14 to July 15, 185 combat engagements were recorded at the front. In the Pokrovsk sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 55 enemy attacks, in the Liman sector the enemy attacked 27 times, and in the Novopavlivka sector Ukrainian defenders repelled 23 attacks.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy launched two missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using two missiles, and 84 air strikes, dropping 154 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 5,521 attacks, including 90 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,842 kamikaze drones.
The aggressor carried out air strikes in the areas of settlements:
- Shostka, Sumy region;
- Bilohiria, Novodanylivka, Plavni, Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia region;
- Odradokamyanka, Kherson region.
North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions
There were 20 combat engagements in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors. The enemy carried out 16 air strikes, dropped 39 guided bombs, and fired 372 times, including nine times from multiple launch rocket systems.
South Slobozhansky, Kupyansky, Lymansky and Seversky directions
In the South Slobozhansky sector, the enemy conducted five offensives in the areas of Vovchansk and Zelenyi.
Six occupants’ attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector yesterday. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Kindrashivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Zahryzove and in the directions of Pishchane, Nova Kruhlyakivka and Petropavlivka.
In the Liman sector, the enemy attacked 27 times. He tried to advance in the areas of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Karpivka, Novyi Myr, Kolodyazi, Serebryanka, Torske and towards Novosergiyivka and Shandryholove.
In the Siversky sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 11 enemy attacks yesterday. Occupants’ units tried to advance towards Hryhorivka, Ivan-Daryivka, Verkhnekamianske and Vyymka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors
In the Kramatorsk sector, four firefights were registered in the direction of Stupochky, Predtechyne and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy made six attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Rusyn Yar, Diliyivka and in the direction of Katerynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 55 aggressor’s assault and offensive actions in the areas of Novoekonomichne, Myrne, Rodynske, Fedorivka, Razine, Lysivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Poltavka, Promin, Muravka, Dachne, Novopavlivka, Oleksiyivka and in the direction of Volodymyrivka, Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad.
Novopavlivskyi, Prydniprovskyi, Orekhivskyi and other directions
In the Novopavlivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 23 enemy attacks in the areas of Novokhatske, Zaporizhzhia, Komar, Myrne, Piddubne, Novosilka, Novopil, Voskresenka, Vilnoye Pole, Shevchenko, Zelene Pole and Temyrivka.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Kamianske.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the aggressor conducted nine unsuccessful offensives.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Huliaipil sector yesterday.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
