        General Staff confirmed strikes on Syzran oil refinery and seaport in Krasnodar region of Russia

        On the night of December 5, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the infrastructure of the seaport in the city of Temryuk in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation. Strikes were also carried out on the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara region.

        This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

        The Temryuk seaport handles the shipment of general, liquid (liquefied natural gas and chemical cargo), bulk, and loose cargo. It is involved in supplying the Russian occupation army.

        A hit on the territory of the facility was recorded, followed by a fire. The extent of the damage is being clarified.

        Also, during the night, the Defense Forces struck the facilities of the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara region of the Russian Federation. The annual processing capacity of this refinery is 7 to 8.9 million tons of oil per year. It is involved in supplying the armed forces of the Russian aggressor.

        A UAV strike on the refinery’s territory was recorded, followed by a fire. According to preliminary information, one of the plant’s installations was hit.

        In addition, the results of the recent strike on the Saratov refinery have been confirmed – the ELOU-AVT-6 primary oil purification installation was damaged. As of early December 2025, the plant has completely suspended primary processing of crude oil and is operating at less than 50% of its design capacity, with key installations completely shut down.
