Russian troops continue to attack the positions of Ukrainian defenders along the entire front line. As of 16:00 on 26 June, 79 combat clashes were recorded, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The most intense assault operations are in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy carried out 26 attacks, 21 of which Ukrainian soldiers have already repelled.
Fighting continues in the Pivnichno-Slobozhansky, Kursk, Kupiansky, Lyman, Toretsk and Novopavlivsky directions.
Border settlements in the Sumy region, including Ulanove, Bachivsk, Kuchervka and Seredina-Buda, were hit by artillery fire from Russian territory.
In general, the enemy is actively using aviation and artillery, in particular, four guided aerial bombs were dropped on Ukrainian positions and more than 100 shellings were carried out.
