The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant temporarily lost all off-site power in the evening. Electricity supply was restored after about 40 minutes.
This was reported by IAEA, citing Director General Rafael Grossi. According to him, this is the second such incident in less than a week and the 14th since the start of the full-scale war.
The cause of the power loss is not yet known. The IAEA team present at the site is investigating and monitoring the situation.
The agency stressed that such incidents highlight the continued precarious nuclear safety situation at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
