During the winter of 2025–2026, the Russian army suffered significant losses in personnel and equipment, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
According to preliminary estimates, enemy losses over the three winter months amounted to about 92,850 servicemen.
Ukrainian forces also destroyed 322 tanks, 430 armored combat vehicles, and 2,967 artillery systems. In addition, 110 multiple launch rocket systems and 55 air defense systems were eliminated.
According to the General Staff, during this period Russia also lost 5 aircraft and 1 helicopter, as well as 360 cruise missiles.
Losses in unmanned aerial vehicles remain especially high — 65,269 operational-tactical level UAVs were destroyed.
In addition, 1 ship or boat and 1 submarine were hit, as well as 11,927 units of automotive equipment and fuel tankers, and 65 units of special equipment.
