        Two killed and 16 injured in Russian attacks on Sumy region

        Two people were killed and another 16 injured as a result of Russian attacks on Sumy region. Russian forces used mortars, guided aerial bombs and drones.

        This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.

        In the Seredyna-Buda community, men aged 40 and 64 were killed in a mortar attack. Four other men and a woman were injured.

        In the Sumy community, a 52-year-old man and five women aged 84, 83, 76, 71 and 68 sustained injuries and bodily harm as a result of guided aerial bomb strikes.

        Another man was injured after a Russian drone struck.

        In addition, three women and a man sought medical assistance for injuries they sustained on September 29 as a result of a UAV strike on the Seredyna-Buda community.

        Investigative teams and other relevant services worked at the attack sites. Law enforcement officers documented the damage and collected evidence.

        Criminal proceedings have been opened over the Russian attacks under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — war crimes.
