        Ukrainian Defense Forces strike Russian drone command posts, training ground and depots

        On September 18 and overnight into September 19, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a number of important Russian military facilities in the occupied territories of Ukraine. The targets included drone command posts, a training ground, ammunition depots and logistics facilities.

        This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

        Russian UAV command posts were struck near Luhanske and Pokrovsk in Donetsk region, as well as near Volodymyrivka, Verbove, Novoprokopivka, Dobropillia and Rivnopillia in Zaporizhzhia region.

        Near Novoprokopivka, Ukrainian forces struck two Russian drone command posts.

        A Russian training ground known as “Vostochny” was also struck near the temporarily occupied settlement of Novopetrivka in Zaporizhzhia region.

        In Donetsk region, the Defense Forces attacked a logistics depot in Rybynske and an ammunition depot near Amvrosiivka.

        The General Staff also reported confirmed results of an earlier strike. According to the military, a Russian 80P6 radar station near the settlement of Mityuli in Russia’s Smolensk region was damaged on September 17.
