The facility has a processing capacity of up to 10 million tonnes of hydrocarbon feedstock per year. It produces motor gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, polyethylene and other oil refining and petrochemical products.

According to the General Staff, the complex is involved in supplying the needs of the Russian armed forces.

The General Staff noted that strikes on such facilities are aimed at reducing Russia’s military and economic potential.
