Ukraine has submitted its proposals to the American side regarding possible outcomes of the upcoming trilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi. Preparations for the talks are continuing with the participation of the United States, NATO and European partners.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this.
The president said he discussed preparations for the Abu Dhabi meeting with NB8 partners.
According to him, there have been numerous preparatory contacts in recent days, including a meeting in Brussels with NATO representatives and European partners, as well as his talks with representatives of the US president.
“The negotiating teams are effectively in constant contact. We believe the meeting in the Emirates must be made productive, and we have passed our proposals regarding real potential outcomes to the American side,” Zelenskyy said.
Europe must be involved in security discussions
Zelenskyy stressed that issues concerning European security must be discussed with the participation of European nations.
According to him, the partners agree that all European countries equally deserve guaranteed security.
The president also said that the first priority of diplomatic efforts should be to end Russia’s war against Ukraine as soon as possible.
