Emergency power outages were introduced on the evening of September 30 in parts of Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions. The outages were caused by equipment overload resulting from Russian shelling.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.
Emergency outages are in effect in some districts of the capital and in the three regions.
Ukrenergo said energy workers are working to repair the damage and restore the equipment to operation.
The restrictions are expected to be lifted immediately after the situation in the power system stabilizes.
At the same time, consumers who still have electricity were urged to use it sparingly.
