Ukraine expects an increase in supplies of generators and other energy equipment as early as next week. Volodymyr Zelenskyy outlined these expectations after meetings with representatives of Turkish energy companies.

The president announced this on Telegram following talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on October 31.

Energy and infrastructure were among the areas of cooperation discussed by the Ukrainian and Turkish sides. Zelenskyy said both countries have significant potential in these sectors.

“We met with representatives of Turkish energy companies, and as early as next week we expect an increase in supplies of generators and other energy equipment,” the president said.

Ukraine and Türkiye are also preparing new joint industrial and other economic projects. Zelenskyy stressed that the entry into force of the free trade agreement creates new opportunities for businesses in both countries.

A substantial part of the talks with Erdoğan focused on the Black Sea and food security. The presidents discussed new ideas and proposals and agreed to work on the Black Sea grain corridor to ensure that it operates effectively.

Zelenskyy thanked Erdoğan for his cooperation and Türkiye’s willingness to support initiatives aimed at bringing peace and security closer.
