On the night of October 1, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with drones. The strikes hit warehouse facilities, a non-residential complex and a residential building, leaving one person injured.
This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
In the Obolonskyi district of the capital, warehouse facilities were hit in the attack. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene.
In the Pecherskyi district, a UAV struck the territory of a non-residential complex. Rescuers and other emergency services are working at the scene.
In the Solomianskyi district, the attack caused a fire in premises on the ground floor of a 16-story residential building. Parked cars also caught fire. The blaze was extinguished over an area of 80 square meters.
In the Obolonskyi district, a large fire broke out in a warehouse building. Rescuers extinguished the fire, and one injured person was handed over to medics.
The consequences of the Russian attack and information about possible additional damage are being clarified.
