        President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of the Netherlands Rob Jetten signed a joint statement launching work on the Drone Deal and agreed on joint drone production.

        This was reported by the Office of the President. The Drone Deal предусматривает joint development and production of drones, missiles, electronic warfare systems, and other defense technologies.

        The cooperation also includes investments in defense infrastructure, research, innovation, and the exchange of operational experience Ukraine has gained while countering Russian aggression.

        The Office of the President noted that Ukraine and the Netherlands are moving from a model of sustained support to deeper integration in defense production and technology.

        The countries will also work to strengthen their defense-industrial capacity and increase production to respond to modern security challenges. The cooperation is expected to evolve into a long-term defense-industrial partnership.

        In addition, in the presence of Zelenskyy and Jetten, a licensing agreement was signed to initiate joint drone production.
