Details about the possible colors of the iPhone 18 Pro have surfaced ahead of its expected 2026 release. The main new option could be Dark Cherry — a deep, wine-like shade.
This was reported by Macworld, citing a source familiar with Apple’s supply chain. According to the report, Dark Cherry is being considered as the signature new color for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
In addition, Apple is reportedly testing several other options, including Light Blue, Dark Gray, and Silver. However, the final lineup may change, as the devices have not yet entered mass production.
The report also says Apple may discontinue current colors, including Cosmic Orange from the previous generation.
Beyond colors, Macworld sources also accessed CAD renders of the new models. According to them, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will largely retain the existing design with only minor changes. Notably, the Dynamic Island is expected to become smaller, providing more screen space.
Another possible change is a reduced gap between the glass panel and the camera module, though the final design is still subject to revision.
The report also mentions a foldable iPhone, possibly called iPhone Ultra. It is expected to come in more neutral colors — silver, white, and indigo — and to be significantly thinner than other models.
The iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, and the foldable iPhone are expected to be unveiled in September 2026, although the foldable model may reach the market later.
