Since the start of the day there have been 108 combat engagements along the front. Ukraine’s Defence Forces are stopping the enemy, holding the lines and disrupting Russia’s plans.
Areas hit by Russian artillery included Utskove, Brusky and Buniakyne in Sumy region, as well as Khrinivka, Yasna Polyana, Mykhalchyna Sloboda and Huta Studenetska in Chernihiv region. On the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors there were four engagements; today the enemy carried out one air strike, dropped two guided aerial bombs and conducted 96 shelling attacks, including four with multiple-launch rocket systems.
On the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector there were 11 engagements near Zapadne and Kutkivka and towards Bolohivka, Dvorichanske and Kolodiazne; one enemy attack is still ongoing. On the Kupiansk sector one engagement is ongoing; in total since morning the enemy has tried five times to advance near Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka and Stepova Novoselivka.
On the Lyman sector eight engagements took place, with attacks near Kopanky, Karpivka, Drobysheve, Torske and towards Lyman. On the Sloviansk sector the enemy launched four attacks near Yampil, Serebrianka and Dronivka.
The Defence Forces stopped 11 attacks on the Kostiantynivka sector — near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleschiivka, Rusyn Yar and Poltavka. On the Pokrovsk sector Russian forces attempted to advance 29 times near Shakhove, Sukhietske, Myrnohrad, Chervonyi Lyman, Myroliubivka, Novoekonomichne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiia and towards Pokrovsk; 24 attacks have already been repelled and fighting continues.
On the Oleksandrivsk sector Ukrainian units repelled 13 attacks near Zelenyi Hai, Sichneve, Sosnivka, Novohryhorivka and towards Orestopol; five more attacks are ongoing. On the Kramatorsk, Huliaipole and Prydniprovia sectors the enemy has conducted no offensive actions since morning. On the Orikhiv sector four assaults were repelled near Stepove and towards Prymorske. No significant changes were recorded on the other axes.
Ukrainian forces continue to wear down the enemy along the entire line of contact and in the rear.
