Fuel tankers failed to arrive in the Russian-annexed city of Sevastopol, and all previously issued QR codes for gasoline purchases were deactivated. This was announced by the Russian-appointed “governor” of the city, Mikhail Razvozhayev, ASTRA reports.

According to him, the fuel tankers were unable to reach the city during the night of June 11. As a result, residents were urged not to queue at TES gas stations, as fuel sales to the public would not take place in the near future.

Razvozhayev also stated that all previously issued QR codes for gasoline purchases were no longer valid.

At the same time, on June 11, TES gas stations are expected to provide fuel to municipal services, ambulances, law enforcement agencies, and public transportation.

In early June, the occupation authorities introduced fuel vouchers and later suspended their sale. In annexed Sevastopol and Crimea, QR codes could be used to obtain vouchers for purchasing fuel at TES gas stations.

Another gas station network, ATAN, also operates on the peninsula, where gasoline is reportedly available for general sale. However, AI-95 gasoline can only be purchased using vouchers.

The gasoline shortage in Russian-annexed Crimea began in late May.
