A drone attack in Kazan has caused fires in buildings in three districts – Sovetsky, Kirovsky and Privolzhsky, RIA Novosti reports, citing the mayor’s office.
Telegram channels published videos of fires in multi-storey residential buildings.

Tatarstan’s Prime Minister Alexei Pesoshin visits the Azure Skies residential complex after reports of a drone hitting the building, TASS reports.
Tatarstan’s Head of State Rustam Minnikhanov also arrived at the scene of a fire in a building in Kazan after a drone attack, the agency writes.
Elevators are out of order in the high-rise Lazurnye Nebesy residential complex, and people have to evacuate on foot from the upper floors, Vechernaya Kazan reports. The fire continues, with smoke covering the site, the newspaper notes.
The glazing of the skyscraper has been damaged. Roads are blocked.
There were no injuries due to the UAV attack on the Azure Skies residential complex in Kazan, TASS reports, citing the operational headquarters.
The mayor’s office said that schools were selectively evacuated in the city, and children were taken to basements for some time.
Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the operation of Kazan airport, Rosaviatsiya reported.
The Izhevsk airport has also introduced the Carpet Plan, with flights suspended due to the drone attack on Tatarstan, TASS reports, citing the head of Udmurtia.
A total of eight arrivals were recorded in relation to Kazan.
