Russian occupants continue to attempt to break through the defences of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and advance deep into Ukrainian territory. However, according to the General Staff, as of 16:00, the Ukrainian defence forces are holding back the enemy, inflicting significant losses.
The number of enemy attacks has increased to 133 today.
Border regions under fire
The Russian army continues shelling the border areas of Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions. As a result of artillery attacks, the settlements of Tymofiyivka, Bachivsk, Senkivka, Berylivka and Oleksandrivka were damaged.
Kharkiv sector
In this direction, the occupants stormed the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of Hatyshche. In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled six attacks near Petropavlivka, Kucherivka and Lozova. One firefight is ongoing.
Liman sector
The enemy attacked in the areas of Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Platonivka, Makiivka, Terny and Bilohorivka. Ukrainian troops repelled 15 attacks, six battles are ongoing. The enemy also conducted an air strike on Serhiivka.
Kramatorsk and Toretsk sectors
In the Kramatorsk sector, two occupants’ attacks near Chasovyi Yar continue, and in the Toretsk sector, two battles are ongoing in the areas of Shcherbynivka and Toretsk.
Pokrovsk sector
The occupants carried out 26 attacks in the areas of Zelenoye Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Solone and other localities. The defence forces repelled 22 attacks, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
Kurakhove and Vremivka sectors
In the Kurakhove sector, 16 enemy attacks were registered, four clashes are ongoing. In the Vremivsk sector, the occupants carried out 17 attacks and launched air strikes on Zaporizhzhia, Rozlyv and Komar, dropping nine guided bombs.
Other areas
The enemy did not conduct active operations in the Orikhiv, Hulyaypillia and Prydniprovskyi sectors.
Kursk region
Ukrainian troops repelled 16 attacks in this sector and are engaged in 19 active engagements. The occupants also made 152 artillery attacks.
The Ukrainian defence forces continue to hold the line and effectively destroy enemy equipment and manpower.
