On the night of August 17 (from 19:30 on August 16), the enemy attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 60 Shahed-type strike UAVs, as well as various types of decoy drones, the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
“According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense has shot down/suppressed 40 enemy Shahed UAVs and decoy drones of various types in the north and east of the country. Impacts of a missile and 20 UAVs were recorded at 12 locations in frontline areas of Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions,” the military statement said.
