Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on new strikes targeting Russian facilities linked to the military industry and war infrastructure. He published the statement on his social media accounts.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukrainian “long-range sanctions” once again reached Perm, which is located more than 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. He also mentioned strikes on Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Novorossiysk, Krymsk, Tuapse, as well as the Samara and Nizhny Novgorod regions.

The president said Ukraine had repeatedly proposed moving toward peace, but Russia responded with new attacks. According to him, this is why Ukrainian strikes are targeting Russian facilities connected to the military industry, war infrastructure, and the financing of aggression.

Meanwhile, the Telegram channel ASTRA reported that the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez refinery in Perm was attacked for the second time in eight days. The facility is one of Russia’s largest oil refineries.

Perm region governor Dmitry Makhonin confirmed a drone strike “on one of the industrial enterprises” but did not specify its name. He said there were no fatalities and claimed that several drones had been shot down.

ASTRA also reported that a drone struck near the roof area of a residential apartment building on Novosibirskaya Street in Perm. According to the project, the defense enterprise JSC ODK-STAR is located about 600 meters from the building. The company manufactures engine components for Russian military aircraft and helicopters.

Authorities in the Perm region reported one injured person. Residents of the damaged apartment building were evacuated after the attack.
