Ukraine and Germany have signed an agreement on the development of an anti-ballistic program. The document provides for joint work by Ukrainian and German companies on the development and production of modern interceptor missiles.

This was announced by Ukraine’s Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

The agreement on the development of the anti-ballistic program was signed together with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius during a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format.

Ballistic missiles remain one of the greatest threats to Ukraine. That is why the development of modern anti-ballistic solutions is one of our priorities for protecting cities, critical infrastructure, and civilians, Fedorov noted.

The parties also signed an agreement on the joint production of Ukrainian ground robotic systems “Termit” in Germany.

Under the project, several thousand such systems are planned to be produced for the Defense Forces of Ukraine at the expense of the German side.
