Nine people, including three children, were injured as a result of a Russian strike on the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv on May 7. Thirty-eight private homes were damaged.
This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
According to the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, most of the victims are experiencing acute stress reactions, and several people sustained injuries from broken glass and bruises.
Rescue workers are on the scene. A car and a metal structure caught fire as a result of the attack. Neighboring houses were also damaged.
Cleanup efforts following the shelling are ongoing.
