Following Paris Saint-Germain’s advancement to the Champions League final, 127 people were arrested in Paris and its suburbs. During the celebrations, clashes broke out, cars and trash cans were set on fire, and at least 34 people were injured.

Following PSG’s victory and the club’s advancement to the Champions League final, mass celebrations began in Paris on the evening of May 6, accompanied by riots.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, a total of 127 people were detained in the Paris metropolitan area, 107 of them in the capital itself.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, 34 people were injured during the incidents, including 23 police officers with minor injuries. One person also sustained serious injuries from a pyrotechnic device.
According to police, several people attempted to block the Paris ring road, but law enforcement pushed them back. Police also stated that they stopped attempts to damage property and rob stores.
In the area around the stadium, security forces used tear gas to restrict access to the arena. Additionally, authorities blocked access to the Champs-Élysées and Place de l’Étoile.
The Paris Fire Department reported 67 fires in trash bins in the areas of the Champs-Élysées and the stadium. Three cars were also set on fire in the city—one on Place de la Concorde and two near the stadium.
Isolated clashes between revelers and police occurred near Place de la République.
