On the night of April 19, Russian forces carried out a massive drone attack on Ukraine. Air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 203 enemy UAVs.
During the night of April 19 (from 17:30 on April 18), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 236 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmass types and other drones from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo, as well as from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Crimea, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data as of 08:00, air defenses shot down or suppressed 203 enemy UAVs in the north, south, and east of the country.
At the same time, 32 strike UAV hits were recorded at 18 locations, as well as debris falling at eight locations. The attack is ongoing, with enemy drones still present in the airspace.
