Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said that the Ukrainian military continues ‘treacherous attacks’ on energy infrastructure facilities, despite the fact that Russia and Ukraine, with the assistance of the United States, have agreed not to carry out such strikes.
‘On 19 March, an oil depot in the Kuban region came under attack, and on 21 March, the Suja gas metering station in the Kursk region,’ Zakharova said.
‘We clearly warn that if the Kiev regime continues its destructive line, the Russian side reserves the right to respond, including a symmetrical response,’ Zakharova said.
The Russian Defence Ministry says Ukraine allegedly attacked the Suja gas metering station, which was used to supply Russian gas to Europe, while retreating from the Kursk region. The AFU General Staff said that the Russian military themselves shelled the station with artillery.
