Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Mahuchikh won the Diamond League athletics meeting in Rabat, Morocco. It was her first start of the 2026 summer season.

At the Diamond League event, Mahuchikh cleared 1.97 meters and won the gold medal. The athlete cleared 1.97 meters on her second attempt. After that, she tried to improve her result by requesting heights of 2.00 and 2.02 meters, but failed to clear either mark.
Ukraine was also represented in the high jump by Yuliia Levchenko. She cleared 1.91 meters and finished fourth.
Australia’s Eleanor Patterson took second place with a result of 1.94 meters, while Serbia’s Angelina Topić finished third with the same result.
In 2026, Yaroslava Mahuchikh extended her winning streak to five consecutive starts. She won four gold medals during the indoor season, including becoming the world and Ukrainian indoor champion.
Mahuchikh’s best result of the season remains 2.03 meters, which she achieved at her opening competition in Lviv. This year, she also cleared heights above two meters twice — 2.01 meters at the competition in Karlsruhe and at the 2026 World Indoor Championships.
